Clay Court Fashion!

We had a Fashion Thread earlier in the year...how about for the Clay Season!

Serena

Nothing new. Same old same old. We won't see anything new until Roland Garros--and maybe not until Wimbledon. Still, I love the bright orange. Hasn't looked this good since last year's Roland Garros!
Grade: B-

Anna

Looks a little baggy to me...that's surprising. Still, I like the white/light blue combo. And it's Anna...does she ever look bad?
Grade: A

Dementieva

At least she'll match the clay....
Grade: D

Henin-Hardenne

Same old, same old. Still, she looks pretty good.
Grade: B+

Conchita

Ah, the classic looks never goes out of style.
Grade: A-

Bedanova

A little too red for me. She would do well to mix it up. White/Red combo or Red/Black combo.
Grade: C

Majoli

Another more traditional look. Iva looks nice, and she was wise going for a darker blue. Too bad she couldn't do better in the event...
Grade: B+

I am ready to see what Serena and Venus have in store for us next. I like Anna's outfit but I want a new design. Something like she wore at RG last year. But she does look great

I think a better question would be, what's wrong with her leg?! The strapped one looks twice as big as the other one . . .

TennisHack, the strapped leg is side on and th other is front on so that's why the strapped one looks bigger.

I'm aware of that, I was just kidding in my post . . .

Trying a little of "my favorite poster" 's humor; guess it doesn't suit me

Carry on.

I don't think it's Dementieva so much as it is Yonex! They make terrible designs and make their poor players wear them and it's not flattering at all! Monica is so cute and yet, in Yonex, it makes her look frumpy and matronly! And the colours they choose are horrid. The orange/grey/white combo is just horrible. At least when they stick to powder blue it ain't so bad.

The players are cute yet Yonex manages to make them look bad. I bet even Anna would look sub-par in Yonnex clothes.

Justine's sponsor has less creative designers...i can't believe she's wearing the same outfit from last year....thumbs down for her outfit.

Madame Oracene Williams could certainly teach the French & Belgian crowds on how to upgrade their respective primitive behaviours during a tennis match.

At least Le Coq Sportif recognises that the outfit looks good on Justine! And she looks really good in red. The yellow washed her out a bit with her blonde hair, but the red really makes her look hot! Like she's on fire. So yes...on the creative side, they weren't too creative. But on the style side, they recognised that sometimes it is better to quit while you're ahead!
