Is there any doubt now that Kim isn't no treat for Williams domination?!

After seeing Serena beating Kim so easily at the Nasdaq I can really say that Kim's gone backwards now! She even seemed deflated after the loss! Serena sent out a loud and clear message: Kim you still got work to do!!!

And I think that message was heard loud and clear. Why would they ever think Kim was a threat to Serena I do no know. Serena whip her so good she could not even complete her doubles match. Serena had her running from one end of the court to the other and she was deflated.

Yea, I bet. Stop making excuses for her. Serena was Ill also but she completed the tournment. I know that win at the year ending championship was a fluke.

Well if they're giving 5 to 1 odds on Kim at the French Open, maybe I'll have my boys pay Serena and Venus a visit so I can turn my 5 dollars into 25 dollars. I'll have some pretty good lunches the week after let me tell ya. You see, in addition to investigative assignments, my boys also take care of "other tasks." Fear the boys.

Kim is a great player and will always be a threat. I'm not buying the Stomach Flu excuse considering that she had no problem waxing Dokic in less than an hour( in fact she has been waxing everyone in less than an hour). Kim got beat plain and simple. Just like at Antwerp.

I am not undermining Rena achievment but Kim did not play at all well, in fact the TV commentators described her play as awful. Kim played worse then she did at the Scottsdale final.

She is no match for S/V that is why. Serena sure shut Maryjo and pam up. Bunch of Illiterate commentators who is looking for anyone to take down a Williams. It never cease to amaze me why can't Pam and Maryjo enjoy the Williams domination, afterall they are Americans like them and you should root for your own and forget the colour of a person's skin.

hi nuri!

kim for the french open 2003.

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

It was not Pam and Mary Jo! It was Simon and Jo Durie, and if you think Im just making excuses look at the AO match see how well Kim played compared to last Thursday.

But does this really matter, I mean its one match, if tennis was based on the results of just one match, Kim would have never beaten Rena in LA.

pfft @ some kim fans and their endless excuses....

But, I don't think you can disregard Kim as a non-threat against Serena especially in clay (especially now that Irma is favouring kim to win FO). Anyways, I will always feel nervous whenever serena plays kim.

Is there any doubt now that Williams fans are panicked by Kim's steady improvement? Given that they often start threads like this and quickly all rush in to comment on any positive Kim threads.

You have to answer for Santino, Carlo.

Is there any doubt that Kim is NO threat?

Yes there is still doubt.

Or, to be more specific, she already IS a threat, without any doubt. A threat being something that could potentially happen, but has not yet occured.

She did, after all beat both of them last year, and she should improve. Venus and Serena both improved between ages 19 and 21. I have reason to assume Kim won't. She's not only a threat, but the likeliest threat. There's a reason why 'that's not a threat, its a promise' is a cliche.

What Kim isn't is a PROMISE to end the 'Williams Domination'. By any dictionary defintion, she already is a threat, and has been for some time.
