Is Venus Injured...

....this is not excuses making, but the pts are going by like every 1 second. It seems she is either winning the pt, or loosing the pt now.

So she is either winning them or losing them eh? As opposed to the alternative?

well there is always next tournament. Maybe now venus will work on her serve and focus on tennis. Meg has a big win, but she is not winning this tournament. Oh well, nice one vee but you just didn't have it today. I think this is looking like a serena jen final which is always a classic cause meg is not beating jen.

did "they" say what exactly is wrong with her? what's the nature of the injury?

When you called, what did they say was 'wrong' with her? What type of injury or did they not speculate as to specifics?

Well according to most, she wasn't beating Venus either.

Yeh, absolutely. She's about as injured as Daniela was when she lost to Molik. We're all as guilty as the next person to go looking for excuses that do not exist when our favourite loses. Sometimes you just have to concede that your hero or heroine gets beaten by a better player on the day.

Wouldn't it be nice for a change to say "Well done Meghann" or whoever or does that stick in your throat too much?

Venus is definately injured-IN THE EGO! Meghan won fair and square. The statistics definately show that much. Williams fans just never want to admit that Venus and Serena (well, Venus in particular) can actually loose even when they are playing well. It annoys the heck out of me sometimes.

Justine or Chanda? Yeah, right! I'm not saying Serena/Jen, but certainly JEN vs. somebody.
