Serena-Iroda might be really good.

I think Dokic will breeze through alicia. Just a feeling.

If all goes according to plan, we are going to have some blockbuster quarterfinals.

Regardless of the quality of the tennis.

You have to answer for Santino, Carlo.

it looks pretty straight forward for the top girls.

capriati should get through although if she plays badly it could be a struggle.

same with mauresmo but she usually gets better with every round.

and serena might have some trouble against iroda but i'm not expecting it.

henin's playing great so i wouldn't think there would be any trouble there.

davenport might neeed to step it up because she's been a bit off and bartolik is playing well but even if davenport doesn't play great i think she would get through.

all in all it could be a bit of a struggle for the top seeds but most of them should get through. i think the toughest match will be dokic and molik. that one is up in the air for now.

Justine and JCap might give V more trouble than we originally thought

If Bartoli stands midway inside the baseline to return serve against Serena like she usually does, she'll be in a for quick evening.

Prediction: 6-2 6-1 for Serena

Assuming Clijsters is not intoxicated when she goes out there, she should get by Pistolesi. Even though Dokic is coming back in form, Kim has too much for her

Prediction: 6-2 6-4 for Kim

Rubin usually experience slumps at around this time, and Henin is on fire, so I think she'll come through

Prediction: 6-2 6-3 for Justine

Capriati vs. Venus (assuming she beats Meghann): Flip a coin, I guess Venus will come through based on her previous wins against Jennifer

Prediction: 6-3 4-6 6-4 for Venus
