Arrow Bovina and Stubbs takes 2 hours to win 1st set!?

These stats can't be right..lol Elena and Rennae won the 1st set 7-6 against Reeves/Sequera which took 2 hours and 5 minutes! Wow that's pretty impressive considering it's a doubles match!

Reeves/Sequera won the 2nd set 6-2 in 38 minutes and are leading 4-3 in the 3rd.

lol @ 125 mins. They probably counted in the rain delay. Reeves/Sequera won the 3rd 6-4 in 0 mins. according to the current stats.

Congrats to Reeves/Sequera, but that's a really bad loss for Bovina/Stubbs. Very unexpected. And those stats are a bit... hmmm... wrong!

Hehe, maybe Ren had one of her long arguments over the line call in the first set... It's definitely a tough loss for them in the 1st round , but impressive win for Reeves & Sequera.

No doubting who was most important in the Raymond/Stubbs partnership...

Mirjana Lucic : Australian Open doubles champ and back in Top 100

Jelena Jankovic : US Open finalist 2008 and World No. 1

Jennifer Capriati : 3 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold and World No.1

Rafael Nadal : 10 Grand Slams, Olympic Gold and World No.1

Davenport / Raymond and Kuznetsova / Navratilova also won sets in 0 mins today. It's quite a trend

Do keep in mind that Lena/Rennae have won a Tier I this year...

The Russians were simply cursed in this tournament. There's no other reasonable explanation.

That's just how good those teams are. Wait for the face up, the match will be over before you know it. You blink and it's gone!

And yeah, I agree with Leena, Stubbs has been doing quite well this year, better than Lisa at some tourneys. Stubbs/Bovina def. Raymond/Davenport in the finals of Tokyo and Stubbs/Martinez reached the final of Sydney, where Raymond/Daveport lost in the first round.

They've both lost in the first round of a tournament... so no, not really.

Faster than the speed of light: Martina Navratilova

And what do you know?! According to the doubles draw on the Miami site right now, Samantha Reeves/Milagros Stubbs moved on to the next round. I'm telling you, you just can't get rid of Stubbsy that easily. She ain't gonna go away!
