Nadal and it's not comparable. Nadal constantly fends off opponents who surpass him in skill and ability, Serena dwarfs women's tour in ability and only needs to perform up to her usual level to beat the competition.

Oops.
You stopped MaKiri94 dead in his/her track Obliquely suggesting winning more on clay is a testimony to Natal mental strength
So guess Justine has a superior mental strength , and VIP is equally as mentally strong as Maria.

I wouldn't want to get into a stare down with either of them let alone a tennis match

Serena can come back from a huge down yes, but I doubt that she can still win after missing many chances against someone who she's REALLY afraid of in a Grand Slam final.
But that's the thing, Serena isn't afraid of anyone, whereas Nadal is. They gained their mental stability in different ways; Serena think she's the best, whereas Nadal only thinks about never going down without a fight, and sticking to his game plan religiously.

He looked deep into his eyes and said, "You're perfect."

"No, I'm not. But with you, I don't even care."

Serena when she's on. Nadal is more consistent.

I voted for Serena because her mental strength really has a dampening effect on her opponents, as well as pumping herself up.
