Seventh-seeded Jie Zheng of China survived a three-hours and 12 minutes battle against No. 2 seed Tara Snyder of Houston, winning 5-7, 7-6 (5), 7-5 at $25K Redding Challenger.

Challenger matches are usually way longer than wta matches, i ahve seen a 62 61 win taking around 90mins - simply coz the points are alot longer.

Although atmittedly, i ahve also seen a 75 64 win in under and hour!!

I remember seeing a 7-5 2-6 7-5 win in the british national champs for a 16 year old last almost 3 hours!
