Well folks, the WAR has begun...(this IS related to tennis, and life ya know?)

There was just a "surgical strike" against top Iraqi officials...

Well...what else is there to say???

Any general thoughts??? Any tennis-related thoughts?

The only thing to say now is I hope they catch/kill him quickly so that less people have to die.

Liberation of Iraq?
Shouldn't that be the Destruction of Iraq led by The Great American Idiot?

What the world needs now is love, sweet love!

well, we have to face the truth,
people WILL die........
so what we can hope is that
God will be with them when they dye,
and hope that the casualty will be minimum.....
so pray hard, and i mean, pray hard

Just thinking about Nasdaq...I just can't see them completing this tourney. It will be too chaotic the next few weeks, I think.

One reason could be that "we" love night war. Night there is daytime in the U.S.

They did say they were going to continue with the tournament. I can't see them preempting as the networks would lose mucho dinero...

This is really a dark day for mankind. I am so sad about the war, and I will pray every night for the poor innocent souls caught up in the situation, and that they may survive--whether they be civilians or soldiers. I will also pray a big prayer that this war end soon. It's too bad that a few rotten apples can cause a world of suffering.

CBS will pre-empt the games this week, even if they have no updates on the war. That's mostly why I'm surprised the tournament is still on.
