Jelena is not doing great at the start of this season, how do you feel she will performme in Miami over the next two weeks. She has been given a tough draw with the choice of Kuznetsova or Ruano Pascual in the second round.

I hope she'll do well too, hope she'll at least be in the semis. But as for winning the entire thing, unless Kim pulls out of the tournament ;)

its a tough draw but anything is a tough draw for Jelena of late. I do think she should be back by this event and hope she draws Sveta in r2 cos her game suits Jelena whereas Ruano will make Jela play way too many balls. I can see Jelena making the semis if her game is back and she'll definately give Kim a nice tussle as she has done in all their previous encounters.

I know its asking alot at this stage, but i think she should be very fresh having not played much this year and is really hungry to get a solid result. If she doesnt find her game here im sure shell get there at Sarasota (tier 4) where she is defending champ and its a smart move to play that before the BIG clay events!!!

even that Sarasota tier 4, she will not win.;)

Sorry, she'll get humiliated once again by either Ruano Pascual or Kuznetsova.

My predictions:

Kuznetsova def. Dokic 6-4 6-1
Ruano Pascual def. Dokic 6-1 6-1

I've heard it said that this loss of form coincides with her split from Damir. Maybe. Maybe not. At any event, I don't think she'll regain her form for no reason. Something has change. New coach. Clay court season. More lesbian sex. SOMETHING.

And she's played so poorly, she can't cut down her number of tournaments. if she wants to stay in the top ten. whihc menas not enough rest, no time to work on improving her game.

I think she's on the Burn-out Express, somebody (as Ian Anderson would say) "....stole the handle, and the train, it won't stop going no way to slow down."
