No

Not blind. Not uninformed. We are party to atrocities. But the response of the world after 9/11 is worth noting. Even our most dire enemies offered aid. We should all be so lucky.

The answer to the question is YES...but it depends on which Anna shows up.

Yes. But it all depends on how Anna is playing.
Go Anna!

I think she can, but so much depends on Anna. If Anna starts badly, then I'd be very worried.

It's a good thing though she is up against someone like Safina who is liable to have unforced errors as well, rather than say a Ruano Pascual type player who gets everything back.

Anton, for once I am going to disagree with you because I believe that my Dinara can beat both Anna and Ai! It'll be her week of double As!

Dinara is very talented. She needs experience and better mental focus. I hope that she'll do well in Miami this week. I don't wish Anna any harm, but when she is in the way of Dinara...then I must hope that Dinara will prevail!!!!

Anna hasn't had a match in 2 months. Dinara just lost a match she should have won. She will have more drive to win this one.

Dinara in two.

Yes.

Dinara's obviously the better player now, but her inexperience really shows. She chokes more than a girl that swallows.

Leena!
How can you say that about Dinara! I usually agree with your posts (because I admire Elena as well) but that was a very mean comment! Dinara will get more consistent with experience. And she'll learn how to swallow better.

I didn't mean it in a mean way.

It's just that Dinara has been losing match after match that she should be winning. She's the Russian with the most promise (Yes, more than Lena)... and Anna should be no problem since I'm fairly confident she won't give a shit about this match.

Yes, I agree that Dinara has been losing matches she should be winning (maybe she's learning a bit TOO much from her brother). But I have faith that she'll improve and do well. I think a lot of it is experience. With experience you will learn to believe that you SHOULD win, and not feel lucky when you actually DO win. I'm play tennis as well and I often lose to people to whom I should not lose. It's frustrating. I know how Dinara feels! Anyhow, thanks for your comments. I was just initially shocked by the "swallow" comment, but then got over it pretty quickly.
