Dramatic match. Had about everything in it-medical timeouts, doublefaults, hawkeye.

I'm guessing that match she lost to was against Moonballniacki?

Andrea had a couple "Oh crap I could beat No 2 player" moments which is why she won't advance much further in this event.

With all the adversity Andrea has been through, this is a great win. Now she has to get through this draw, that isnt unreasonable

Massive mess, thought Azarenka had finally got control of it at the start of the third but nope

Abysmal serving from Vika, as usual.

15+ DF's.

Congrats to Petko and her fans.

Laughable performance, Vika just gifted her the match.

Absurd amount of DFs & UEs. 0 points in the last two games combined after getting the break back.

Oh well, the YEC is going to be fun...

Petkovic winning matching is already bad, but winning playing this crap against world n2 is even worse

I can see a fluke QF now

may your choices reflect your hopes not your fears.

Andrea, no matter how she won it, this must be huge for her.

She and Flavia are so similair in many ways. Battling through long injuries, having a lot of downs, and then scoring a good win again.

FLAVIA PENNETTA

US OPEN CHAMPION 2015

Thank you for all these moments over the last years! Supported you until your final point!
