Hingis is in Tokyo…*WTF?

They just showed her watching the Veeyoncé-Bouchard match. First of all it's very strange for her to travel all the way to Japan just to watch, but she withdrew from this tournament for "personal reasons" so what the fuck??

My number one: Victoria Azarenka

ATP: Novak Djoković

Re: Hingis is in Tokyo…*WTF?

The more surprising fact is that she was allowed to leave Switzerland after everything which has happened on Monday night.
Originally she was going to appear in the opening ceremony though, I don't know why she didn't.

She was invited by the organisers to Tokyo because this is the 30th anniversary of the tournament!

Maybe what happened on Monday night was what the personal reasons that caused her unable to arrive in time.

So what happens when a friend or partner holds a different opinion against your favorite?

That would actually be extremely interesting. It would mean she really did withdraw for personal reasons greater than fear of losing .

She recently said because Venus was struggling so much, it was not encouraging for her to play singles.

Now that Venus seem to be turning the corner, maybe she'll give it another thought

She should come back imo, it will get her away from personal problems. Tennis is her life.

They're on two completely different planets in terms of athleticism, and I'm saying this as a Legend fan . I just don't see it being possible for her.
