US Open is my least favorite slam among all the slams. It's already boring enough. And since Sharapova withdrew this year, I almost completely don't give a damn

I don't even like Sharapova, but anyone that says it's better without her is a liar.

With that said, it's not THAT much boring withour her. I wish she was in though.

The problem is, if she played Serena in the final .... well, we just saw it.

I want Sharapova to take the rest of the season off, and find something new. She'll be ranked in the top 4 by RG anyway

Thank you for creating this thread.
It gives Maria fans a place to have a pity party while Maria herself is having a great time paddle boarding

Yeah. I miss her. I really enjoyed her matches against Petrova, Bartoli and Azarenka last year. They were among the most entertaining of the tournament.

Re: Does Anyone Think That the US Open Is Boring Without Sharapova?

Not a fan, but I think her presence is missed. It's always nice to have as many contenders as possible playing to keep things interesting. Not saying she would have went far this year, but when healthy she's usually a factor.

I don't find this to be so. Each to their own, though.

In any case, I prefer to see all the top players play the slams, though I'd also like to see people like Vera Z, too. A tournament is definitely lacking without Zvonareva.

I do miss the drama between her and Serena(despite the fact it rarely turns into an actually competitive match.) And her semi-final last year was entertaining.
