Like Venus, Like Kim

The month after she turned 20, Venus Williams won her first GS title.
Kim Clijsters turns 20 in April. RG is in May.

Of course, Dokic and Hantuchova turn 20 in April as well.

Then again, I'm writing this late, after coding all day, and without looking up the birthdays. So probably none of this makes a lick of sense.

I'm for bed.

They are right. Kim won't be winning any Slams til Kimbledon.

You have to answer for Santino, Carlo.

Her eighteenth birthday was the day before the Roland Garros final. This year, it would be the day of the men's singles' final.
Other players with birthdays during the tournament this year: Justine Henin-Hardenne (21, June 1), Anna Kournikova (22, June 7), and Lindsay Davenport (27, June 8). Also, Venus Williams will turn 23 on June 17, and Steffi Graf will be 34 on the fourteenth.

Volcana, there's 2 other things you forgot to mention:

Both have had devestating losses: Venus(1999 US Open) and Kim (2003 Australian Open)

Both have lost the only GS final played before winning that 1st major title: Venus(1997 US Open), Kim(Roland Garros 2001)

FUCK YOU, SEWTA.

Venus won that same slam she lost two years later, looks like time will be just right for Kim at this year's RG.

I some how don't think Kim will be winning Wimbledon. Her chances are MUCH better at Roland Garros, even if her birthday is after. Venus, Lindsay, Serena...they are just TOO tough on grass, IMO.
