What's the longest time between WTA wins?

Major props to Ai S. for her performances today. She worked hard for her $$ in Arizona She said 1998 was the last title she won. What is the longest time between WTA tour victories and what player holds the record???

Umm... Iva Majoli captured Charleston title since Roland Garros in 1997!

Off the top of my head, Jennifer didn't win one for 6 years at least... 93-99.

If Elena L. would have won the final in Doha... it would have been 6+ years for her.

I don't think it's Jennifer though... I remember the trivia question from somewhere, but can't remember the answer.

Considering a lot of people never win one, let alone two, I'm sure she didn't mind...and it probably made Antwerp even sweeter
