What did Dehous add to Kim's game that Maes couldn't?

Carl Maes brought Kim into top10, coached her for a very long time but since she has changed to Marc Dehous as coach Kim has improved tremendously (since US Open 2002).

What did Dehous add to Kim's game to put her right beneath the Williams sisters and above all the rest of the tour?

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

het serve improved

but I rather go with what kim said in antwerp. that she got more independent last summer and feels more confident because od that and that makes her more consistent!

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

I agree with that but also I think working with some one new who brings new ideas about Kim's game and practice would of helped and also just having someone else believe in you and your ability can lead to an increase in confidence and results. Kim didn't play so well just before she started working with Marc so when she first started working with him her confidence level wouldn't of been that high and to have him believe in her and encurage her would of lifted that. But just being around a new attitude a new person with new ideas would of helped Kim.

her movement on court has vast improvement....she needs only to get consistent with her service game.

Madame Oracene Williams could certainly teach the French & Belgian crowds on how to upgrade their respective primitive behaviours during a tennis match.
