Did Serena break the RG jinx?

It seems that the winner of the RG championships usually encounters some career obstacle after their victory..

graf retired after winning.
Jen went downhill after her victory though she still won Oz but haven't done much since..

And there's Mary Pierce...the injuries and disappointing performances...since she won...

Serena has since won wimbly, USopen, and Oz...

Do you think she avoided the jinx.......????

When I think of life, sometimes my response is "Oh Damn!". But I still think of life anyway, "Oh Damn!!!"

oh jesus, it's not a jinx, it's just a fluke that this all happened. all the other people who have won RG have been fine now haven't they.

Jelena Dokic.Vera Zvonareva.Tatiana Golovin.Mary Pierce.Monica Seles.Martina Hingis.Anna Kournikova

well for a while there was a steady occurence of mishaps and it seemed like no one wanted to win cos they knew that something was gonna happened. I knew it was coincidence but something like three champions in a row.

It's a little weird how the French can change careers.

-Martina Hingis: was she ever the same after the 99 Finals?
-Steffi Graf: Last slam she won, before she retired
-Mary Pierce: Won it, and went on an injury path
-Jennifer Capriati: Hasn't been the same since the semi final loss to Serena Williams in 2002

I don't think we have to worry about Serena. I think the next player we should worry about is Clarissa Fernandez

Thanks TennisIlove..

my point exactly.....On the other hand has there ever been a grandslam that changes careers for the better. After a player wins then they go on a roll...I would like to say that Wimbly is the obvious choice for the slam or maybe the usopen.
