A flair for the dramatic? Or is the fix in?

A suspicious-minded type, with too much time on its hands, might look at the winners of the Tier II, Tier I and GS tournaments so far this year and reasonably consider collusion.

How did 2002 end? With the emergence of a new challenger for the #1 spot. Kim D. Serena at the Tour Championships! Tune in next year...

Now next year is here and somehow, the WTA has managed to get all the healthy big contenders into the winner's circle. Go figure. I think it's al scripted. Figure Serena probably demanded and got extra tournament wins for being #1. Now look at how they scripted the wins.
Code:
Sydney : Clijsters. First showcase the new challneger
Australian Open : S.Williams - The champ
Toray Pan Pacicfic : Lindsay's back
Paris : Serena again
Antwerp : Venus
Dubai : Justine
They've managed to showcase each of the top contenders.
Jenn and Amelie have been injured, so they haven't gotten their wins yet.

To further feed paranoia, check out who's LOSING the finals. It seems clear to me that the WTA is rigging who gets to the final to prove that sponsors can depend on having recognizable stars on BOTH sides of the net in fnals.
Code:
Sydney Clijsters def. Davenport
Ausrtalian Open S.Williams def. V.Williams
Toray Pan Pacicfic Davenport def. Seles
Paris S.Williams def. Mauresmo
Antwerp V.Williams def. Clijsters
Dubai Henin-Hardenne def. Seles
Any serious individual who examines these facts has to conclude something's going on.

OMG you are sooooooooooooo stupid. it isn't rigged. all these players in the finals are in, not because they are big names, but because they have been playing tennis in the top 10 for a while now and they know how to beat everybody else. geez do something else with your time will you. if it is rigged, how come Kraznoroutskaya beat Seles????????????? you idiot!

Its all very clear we have incredibly onesided wins, a predictable GS final and then some tense tight matches and some old players win and some young players and ............
The future is also clear Patty will win the French so we have an upset and Venus will fix Wimbledon and the US open with Serena so she finally gets a win in time to stop the inevitable bandwagon destroying the game. Monica will of course win the end of year champs and retire in glory. Kim can have Miami and Rome, Justine gets Berlin and Jelena gets Hawaii where she will undoubtably find the weather better than Belgrade's and decide to seek asylum. Next year Sandrine returns and gets number one. The year after of course is Anna versus Elena B........and in 2032 Martina N delights her fans by winning the womens's wheelchair tennis (again) at the Kabul olympics.....

You are absolutely correct! The WTA is just like the WWF and fixes its matches in order to produce a more entertaining event.

However, I want to see locker room interviews from the players as well.

first of all TeeRExx, get your facts straight co it's not the WWF, it's the WWE. and tennis can't be rigged. it's impossible. it's not like the losers are throwing away their matches. and the winners have to work hard to earn their wins. just be logical and seriousyl DO SOMETHING BETTER WITH YOUT IME WILL YA

Even I realized that Volcana was trying to say something different than you can read on his post. It was a kind of a joke, like saying "it looks like the results are fixed" meaning that the top players are completely dominating the tour, there was some irony in this posts and even though I normally disagree with him I didn't see anything wrong and could see what the message was.

The dominance of the top players is so big that it "looks" as the results have been rigged, he doesn't believe it, it's you can say a way to express an idea.

Fin - don't bother because idiots like Naldo are just to damn stupid to realize when a text is put there as a joke.

Even education can not give intelligence to a complete moron.

Oh, yeah, I do not keep up with the great sport of wrestling to know that they are now the WWE.
Hopefully, Naldo is not proof of the intelligence level of their fans.
