I Subscribed to 2 Tennis Magazines Saturday!!!

I joined the USTA so I get Tennis free!
Also while at the RAcket Club I signed up for Tennis Week for only $20 a year and got a tennis videotape for free!!

I did not read the Tennis Week yet. They gave me Feb mag with Agassi on cover.

I think Lawn Tennis Magazine beats both of these!!

no, Lawn Tennis is a new "underground" magazine printed on high gloss photo paper and made by fans, not people looking to fill their magazine with resort ads. Also thankfully Chris Evert, McEnroe, etc won't have any columns. We will have a lot of inside stuff about the Kroger St. Jude more than what has been posted on here.

the url for the magazine is:

http://www.venustennis.com/lt.html

It is a great magazine! I read it 4 or 5 times!!

Tennis and Tennis Week regurgitate the same stuff...even though Tennis Week is a lil better.

VENUS. ANA, TAY TAY. NICOLE. LAURA. KONJUH. MADISON

SERENA. MUGU. VIKA. PETKO. CARO. TIMEA. SVETA. HEATHER. KAIA. TAMIRA. FLAVIA. GEORGI. COCO. LUCIE, SLOANE. PENG. SORANA. ALICIA. JAEDA. CICI. ANETT. DANKA. DONNA. FRANCOISE.

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN. SHENAY. DINARA. GISELA. SPREM.

The British tennis magazine "Ace" isn't particularly good either. I'm more interested in the British tennis supplement that comes with it, for subscribers.
Half the pages in the USA's "Tennis" magazine do seem to be adverts! The monthly tennis magazines I've bought in Spain and Belgium seem to be much more interesting than those available in USA and UK.

I don't really like Tennis Week, I had a year long subscription to it, and never renewed. Tennis is better, but probably because it's slightly mainstream. I just never undstood the appeal of Tennis week though.

Well I think Tennis Week is better than Tennis after looking at the mag. Tennis jsut gets more player interviews I think bc they are the top magaizine in the USA.

Question

Uh so what is this topic supposed to be about? The content of the magazines themselves or the fact that you suscribe to them?

I like Tennis Week. It's just somehow different and more fresh than Tennis...

I have a question though--Is this a weekly magazine? B/c I just subscribed and I'm only getting it monthly. I thought for sure that it was a weekly thing since it's in its name...

Visit MONICA!

I am a sinner too!
Jesus answered and said to him[Nicodemus, a Pharisee],"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again[of the Spirit/above], he cannot see the kingdom of God."--John 3:3

Good works can't save you from hell!! Jesus loves you and wants to be in your heart and mind!!!

I will worship Jesus forever!

why lady dives? it's a hard hitting tennis publication without all the fluff like Tennis...they have many good stories though I always detected an anti-Hingis bias there ...hmmm-i did not renew last year either though I have been a subscriber for 8 years...it being only bi-weekly hurts for reading about the tournies though

It used to be bi-weekly during spring, summer, and fall. Now it is less tnhan monthly, but the web site gives frequent updates & posts great articles and unusual interviews continually. There was a great Daniilidou interview not long ago; Jack Kramer too ; Rod Laver I think ...
