For Caro it's 2009 New Haven! She only lost 23 games including a double bagel! Amazing!

Despite not making many winners, she's still an agressive baseliner, and she doesn't only win matches by waiting the opponent's mistake, though she can do that at times also.

There is no way to drop more than 7 games in a set in US Open

Re: The most dominant tournament win of your favorite player?

For Dementieva... She won two Tournaments without losing a set...

Bali 2003: 21 Games
Auckland 2009: 26 Games...

But I would say her most dominant performance was Sydney 2010...

Though she did lose a set to Hantuchova she had great wins in all her other matches all against tough opponents...

Schiavone: 6-2 7-5
Safina: 6-2 6-3
Azarenka: 6-3 6-1
Serena Williams: 6-3 6-2

NO ONE BUT DEMENTIEVA

I think nothing tops her Toronto 2009 win when she beat Serena and Sharapova back-to-back without dropping a set .

Kiri maybe the 2005 China open. Could only find the last two results:-

SF Kirilenko d. Sharapova 6-4 2-1 (ret)
F Kirilenko d.
Grönefeld 6-3 6-4

Nothing to see here.

And apparently that whole tournament she was feeling sick.
I didn't even realize she had such an impressive last 3 rounds Probably because my first thought about Venus' 2001 US Open is that that bitch stopped Serena from winning it by beating Henin-Davenport-(murdering)Hingis-Venus in a row

Her consistency was the most remarkable thing about that tournament run. Rather than trying to produce her usual 'shock-awe' brand of tennis that inevitably caused frequent dips in her play, she was just extremely solid and unflappable.

I mean in the final, she was hugely out-winnered by Serena, but the steady consistency of her play and her assured reliance on her athleticism meant that it was so hard to break her down. Like I said, it's probably the most underrated tournaments of her career.
