Who will get to the top 10 first? Eleni? Or Elena?

eleni daniilidou and elena bovina were predicted to be the big improvers for 2003. and they have already shown that by both reaching the top 20. now they are both just outside the top 15. but i wanted to know how many people thought daniilidou would get to the big 10 first or whether bovina would.

so, who's going to get their first?

Eleni...simply because she has more court sense than Elena.

I think Eleni has better chance

I predict that Eleni will be there first, closely followed by Elena.

Elena will. She has less to defend and doesnt have those serve problems that Eleni has sometimes.

I think they both will this year.

Lena will probably get there first because all she has to defend until the US Open is her win in Warsaw, and semis in Estoril... which is like 100 points.

Eleni has a little more to defend, with her good performances in the grass court season, plus QF in LA.

I love both girls' games... but I have to give the edge to Lena. (I'm not biased either, really I'm not. Really.) Lena is so far from reaching the top level of her game. Like someone said, she lacks court sense... but that will come in time.

Right now I just hope that they both do well....it's too early to say who will be at the top first considering the Russian jinx of doing well and then falling cos of injuries.....and then struggling back.

When I think of life, sometimes my response is "Oh Damn!". But I still think of life anyway, "Oh Damn!!!"
