Kournikova pulls out of Memphis!
I think she's really pregnant
Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Anna Kournikova has withdrawn from next week's Kroger St. Jude tennis tournament, citing back problems.
Kournikova injured her back at last month's Australian Open, where she lost to formidable Belgian Justine Henin-Hardenne in the second round.
'My back sprain is improving, but I won't be in tournament competition for about the next three weeks,' Kournikova said.
The world No. 54 Russian will make an appearance to present a $30,000 check to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Kournikova won a skills challenge at last year's U.S. Open and designated St. Jude as her charity.
A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.
