I wrote Oxygen requesting Increased WTA Coverage

I wrote the Oxygen Channel expressing my appreciation for their coverage of the WTA. This is the response I got back:

Thanks for getting in touch.

We receive a tremendous amount of e-mail, so it may take us a bit of time to get back to you. Be assured that we will forward your message to the appropriate person here at Oxygen and will do our best to respond within the next 10 days. In the meantime, check out the answers to some of the questions we hear the most.

Maybe if we beg we can get some tennis coverage.

Beat'em down Ms Williams, beat'em down!

Victoria Duval - coming to a slam near you
Françoise Abanda definitely a future #1 --- Taylor Townsend devastation on the march
Venus and Serena ferocious grannies --- Kimiko Date Krumm great granny still doing her thing.

Cool...it's nice to get finals coverage of the overseas Tier II events (and some Tier I's). If the Tennis Channel doesn't pick them up, maybe Oxygen can.

Thank GOD for Oprah - she owns this network!

Perhaps Oxygen would be willing to take the step that Lifetime hasn't. How about a nightly sports show with scores and highlights of women's sports? They certainly don't have to worry about fighting with ESPN for footage. And it would be funny to see them scoop SportsCenter periodically. That could be part of the promo: "Information you won't get on SportsCenter."
