I would take Justine's hand and AO incidents over Serena's outbursts & rape apologism and Maria's passive aggressiveness

That being said, she was still a bitch.

Give back 2006 US Open to Justine

Leave.
No matter how much wine does the Hand drink with the Queen and now matter how "classy" she might appear according to your comparision above, it's still not enough as she'll never make up for that 2003 thing in my eyes.

Who do you think Serena thought of when she made that statement and why?
Regardless of whom Serena thought of, FACT REMAINS she did NOT mention pova's name. "Top 5 player" does not necessarily mean sharaova; but then again, pova can't help herself due to unbridled ego Poor soul thinks she's somebody superior with impeccable character. What a joke; particularly when her upbringing points otherwise!

Pova looks like she's one Wimbledon loss away from a total nervous breakdown.

a) The press are telling her that they think it's about her.

b) She has made it clear that she does not know it's about her.

What more do you want? You said she would not say what she said unless she were absolutely certain Serena made the comments with regards to her. Well she just admitted that she DID NOT KNOW if the comments were about her and yet she chose to "put Serena in her place" on the off chance the comments were indeed about her

Sharapova needs to win Wimbledon now else all her haters will never let this unfortunate event pass. That is the only way she can save herself. Win Wimbledon and preferably by beating Serena in the final. She's just heaped a whole lot of pressure on her shoulders. Is she up for it? Time will tell.

Patrick M. on this topic:

Quote:
Mouratoglou saidon Saturday: "I don't think anything about it [about what Sharapova said]. My role is to think about tennis and to help Serena be the best she can be and do what she wants to achieve. I'm just here for tennis."

If it sounds like something out of Melrose Place, that's probably because it almost is. Dimitrov spent a long time with Mouratoglou at his academy and the Frenchman was also his individual coach for a period. After Williams won the French Open earlier this month, Mouratoglou told reporters that Dimitrov was even responsible for their meeting. "I met Serena because she was friends with Grigor Dimitrov and I was coaching him," he said. "I would see her at tournaments, they were talking, and we were talking all three a little bit, and that's it.

There are a lot of rumours and innuendo to sift through but it is unquestionably true that Sharapova is not someone who is impulsive in press conferences. She rarely loses her temper and she is such a professional that there are very few occasions on which she does not know exactly what she's saying or doing. Unlike Williams, she has never made a public apology for something she has said or done.

Just so you know: I'm better than you because my fave is better than your fave. Your fave is a bitch and a shrieking BBB. Or was it pusher? Who cares. She's a classless brat anyway. But don't you dare insult my fave, idiot.

Death @ Hand being classier than anyone. At least Serena has never cheated on court or retired from a slam final.

This part is such total and complete garbage, as we already know the real Pova and her past comments concerning Serena.

All of these bought-and-paid-for medidiots (media idiots) must take us serious tennis fans for fools.
Pova is the most accomplished passive-aggressive slinger on the planet.
In fact, it's one talent where she's got Serena beat hands down.
