Im a bit pissed the coverage doesnt start until 12pm, and they are only showing some crappy movie instead with Gilligan in it?? who makes these decisions at CHannel 7???? I mean even Woodbridge is playing so they should be playing it!!!

I hope she does it!

As a gay kid growing up there were no positive role models amongst the men for me. The only famous gays were the cliched types such as Boy George. Martina filled the role for me - a gay person who you could aspire to be like. Not that it's needed, but if she gets the win tonight with Leander it will be further proof that she is the greatest all round female tennis player ever.

5-2, 2 breaks!! Martina serving for the set!!! WHOO HOO!!!!!

Mirjanafan - I love your post, it was exactly the same for me growing up gay!!! She was my only rold model!!

Of even more significance, there's this little gap in Graf's resume the size of the hole in the ozone layer: It's called Monica Seles. Was Graf the best female player of all time? She wasn't even the best in the heart of her career.

Oh no, 5-3!! Martina had 40-0 in her first serve game and saved 6 breakpoints before dropping serve!!

Well normally mixed doubles doesn't draw too much attention - however this final is the exception!
