I suppose we don't have the schedule of play yet.

So the no. 1 seed highlights the day.

I hope the weather is good.

I hate Sunday starts. Feels so wrong. Still, looking forward to seeing Vee, Serena and Lisicki.

I figure Serena, Ferrer, Federer, Venus, Errani, Ivanovic, and one of the french guys.

I'm just too lazy to go to the US Open.

I think it makes sense at RG: Rain, 5 sets, no Tie Break and points and games longer in general than other Slams (because of clay).
Also Monday to Friday many of us can't hardly watch any tennis match so I'm obviously pro Sunday Start.

I will be able to watch Federer vs PCB

No I agree, and I see why they do; I just don't like it *throws rattle*

Yeah the one thing I do like about ROland Garros is the Sunday start. I think all the slams should start on a Sunday but thats just me.

You are ignoring the main reason: FFT gets big $$$ for an extra day of play, especially if this is a Sunday

Re: Sunday matches @ Roland Garros

Not in France though, now that F1 is on a cable channel. The FO will be the TV event of the day with the end of the Cannes Festival.

There are 7 TV courts I think. Assuming they put 4 matches on each of those, that would be 28.
