mens of 3 or 5?

From the qf's on, is the mens doubles best of 3 or 5? the past i thought that from the qf's the mens doubles was best of 5.

Does anyone know for sure?

best of 3.a men's doubles quarter-finals just finished and they won in 2 sets.5 sets is just too long and they wont get many big names in the draw

It's best-of-3 all rounds including the final. This holds true for the Aus. Open, French Open, and U.S. Open. It used to be best-of-5 but it changed a couple of years ago, I think.

Only Wimbledon is still best-of-5 all rounds.

I thinks best of 5 set doubles matches are plain rediculous... who wants to sit n watch the bloody boring stuff so long?? not that im saying doubles is that boring...but u know
