Amazing and truly inspiring story!

I want her to comeback to the tour.

Re: Alisa Kleybanova wins in her comeback tournament!

Its great she got thru the full week! I knew she could play a lot higher level, but this was a lot of matches
Now whats her next step? She has a protected ranking for 8 tournaments

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter....
Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there
Enjoy This Moment!!
HEALTH and HAPPINESS to EVERYONE

Re: Alisa Kleybanova wins in her comeback tournament!

She'll probably take a little time for her body to get stronger after this week.
Train some more and then probably make a full comeback closer to the end of the year...

Amazing result for her.

Don't know when she'll play again though, I think she played this event to keep her eligibility for a SR.

And the dish ran away with the spoon..
but Hawaii was the only state that would recognize the marriage as legal.

Re: Alisa Kleybanova wins in her comeback tournament!

That's awesome, well done Alisa I mean I really liked her game before cancer and I liked to see her win but I never really considered myself a fan of her, that has definitely changed

The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.
