I hope this is the start of something. But there's no way she's making top 5 this year.

Nice Jinx-Thread
I think, she will maybe stay another time in the top 20, but thats it. If she want to reenter the top 5, she have to deliver this kind of results on regular base.

Re: Jj 2013 back to top5?

If she wins a couple more second-rate slams why not?

Just so you know: I'm better than you because my fave is better than your fave. Your fave is a bitch and a shrieking BBB. Or was it pusher? Who cares. She's a classless brat anyway. But don't you dare insult my fave, idiot.

Re: Jj 2013 back to top5?

It looks like Jankovic does not have a ton of points to defend until the summer/fall part of the season.

If she can do well at the clay court tournies she might get within striking distance of the top 10. Once the summer comes around she will probably plateau... so if she is going to get into the top 10 she needs to do it soon.

Top 5? I wish, but unless she has totally fixed that head of hers.... not likely.

Re: Jj 2013 back to top5?

Rankings don' play.

Her goal for this season is winning slams. If this gaves her spot in TOP5 it will be great. If not I'll be OK with RG and USOpen title.

Winning Wimbledon is too mainstream for Jelena.

The Brainless Pusher
Ernests Gulbis, Marin Cilic, John Isner
Gilles Simon, Nicolas Almagro, Tommy Haas, Jack Sock
Kimiko Date Krumm, Tomas Berdych, Michail Youzhny, Daniel Brands
Elena Dementieva, Julia Cohen, Anna Chakvetadze

Re: Jj 2013 back to top5?

look, we already have to deal with the constant "she's back!111!!!1!1"-bullshit when it comes to ivanovic, please don't do the same with JJ.

Re: Jj 2013 back to top5?

A finish between #11-#15 would be a success. A lot really depends on whether her forehand can improve with her confidence. Then she might have an outside shot at the lower end of the top 10.

- Caroline Wozniacki has never beaten a reigning world #1.
- Caroline Wozniacki has never beaten a top 5 player at a major.
- Caroline Wozniacki has not beaten a top 3 player en route to any of her 24 titles.
- Caroline Wozniacki has beaten three top 5 players en route to her 24 titles (#4 Radwanska, #4 Zvonareva and #5 Schiavone)

This update was pigeonpowered by Aga Radwanska and fake MTO.

Re: Jj 2013 back to top5?

Well she obviously is making a splash in Charleston.....

As long as she keeps playing well on the dirt then she will probably get into the top 10 or near it within the next couple months.

I can't wait! It has been a long time coming (and would be hilarious if she managed it before Ivanovic does...)

Re: Jj 2013 back to top5?

She can actually get to the top 10, as Stosur and Wozniacki are so far back from the top 8. If she can vulture events properly she'll get there. Errani and Kerber are too consistent against lower ranked scrubs.
