Chris Evert @ChrissieEvert
Watched Radwanska close up against Maria Sanchez last nite.. Crafty..patient..smart... Will b a serious contender for French Open..
Unless she gets some clay specialist a la Kuzzie in the first rounds she can be a good contender.
She says she doesn't like to play on clay so much because she cannot rely on the power of her opponents as much as she can on hard/grass surface. She must add her own power which caused usually back problems during clay season.

 Clay is her worst surface by far.. Aga doesn't use spin and doesn't have a big forehand
But i remember she said Wozniacky was a clear favorite of the RG-2011 Does Evert follow tennis or not ?
i dont see why her clay game is much diferent than her regular game, apart a few extra dropshots. its just that everybody sucks so badly on it in the current top10 apart errani whom has her problems.
true, time for preparing and slower balls is grear for most of the tour, but almost no one transitions much anyway, most players dont slide into shots, and chipping is gone.
i expect another first time random SF, at least.
but in anycase her year has been great thus far without rising her game, so the rest of the tour will have difficulties outdoing her, at least prior 4th round. the draw will determine her progress there onwards.
chris' timing in this case is laughable, considering this clay season will be huge for all of the big three, with errani and stosur with alot to prove.

Christine Marie was just trying to make a safe prediction. Aga is playing well in her eyes and the French is the next slam... Had this been the US Open series, she'd be calling Aga a favorite for the Open.
