What's the last time Domachowska played a WTA tournament?
BMW Malaysia Open qualifying round 1
I like the campaign, maybe the production lacks in something, but idea is very nice. I am probably in a minority, but I like the way they try to present WTA tennis, I like both "Strong is beautiful" and this one
Come on, as an heterosexual male I can say that your statement doesn't make any sense. Simply, I like tennis, why should I care about the colour of the logo or whatever?
The colour and logo look like they are aimed at 9 year old girls. Women's tennis is obviously way ahead of every other women's sport and thus is competing with male sports. You would never see a male sport with such soft and teeny girl focussed adverts and marketing. I mean their last campaign 'strong is beautiful' even has the advert start with the lines something like 'little girls are made of'.
I'm not even sure the WTA realise a huge chunk of their market is gay men, as they seem to sell everything either to what they think are horny men (men don't watch sports to be turned on, they watch porn for that) or at little girls who prefer Katty Perry to tennis anyway.
The one they got pretty right was the Hero campaign they did, as many gay men look to famous women for strong role models.
I really hope they pick this up as they're wasting a really nice idea.
They need to prep these players before they do this kind of thing. Come on. That was just so amateur.
Anyway, she said she loved the beach, not being a bitch.
However, it was interesting to hear that Serena Williams was Ula's idol growing up and now it is weird playing against her.
Well, the mountains looked pretty.
I didn't think the hero campaign was good. I don't think of tennis players as heroes, so to have them running across town because their phones rang was just weird.
I liked the slogan Strong Is Beautiful, but the WTA didn't use that idea to its full advantage. I think they ought to try and interest young girls in the sport simply because it is the best-paying sport for women. Right now, soccer prevails for young girls in the U.S. The color pink isn't my favorite, but I don't see why that should turn off gay men. Pink is just a color. The Giro d'Italia uses pink, iirc.
