Mirjana Lucic followed closely by Mary Pierce.

Venus-Serena-Roger

Kuzy/Vika/Sharacoco?!?

clay season will ALWAYS be the speed bump in front of the grass season.

Tennis without Serena is like cornflake without the milk!

mary is number 1 on my list, lucic and iroda is up there too, however, if you include power with control, they are waaaay behind the likes of serena and lindsay and venus.

hunger, desire, fire..........
stength, power, precision.........
talent, court sense, smartness........
no i am not talking about a racket or a squirrel, i am talking about the former and future number 1..............
martina hingis!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck Justine Henin Hardenne, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova, Mary Pierce, and any of my other favorites that I might have forgotten about at this moment.

definitely LUCIC!!!! i love Mirjana Lucic......I think shes the hardest hitter, but she just lacks so much control....even Steffi Graf said Lucic's power was Unbelievable...I saw some matches, she really nails that ball with all the power she has, but she needs control

Lindsay and jelena and Mary next

Serena, Mirjana, Lindsay, Elena Dementieva (forehand), Pierce (forehand), Schett, Mikaelian... there are more... but these are from the top 10.
I wasn't really impressed by Iroda though, she might have more control than Lucic, but she sure doesn't hit as hard!

lucic hits the ball the hardest. it is breaktaking her power, but this does not matter much in terms of winning grand slams becuase there are many other tactical and other consdierarions.

Before this year I thought Venus hits the ball harder than serena. But after I saw the wimbledon final I changed my mind. Serena definitely hits harder. Lindsay hits pretty hard too!

I don't think that Lindsay actually hits that hard. She just hits really flat, so it accelerates and doesn't slow down while in the air.

Mikaelian is also a very hard hitter, but her 'fitness' isn't nearly up to par!

I Will Always Love You Arantxa!!!!
