considering that venus and serena get to shots that NO ONE gets to except for jen, I would say venus first because of her reach and speed, serena, jen, asv, graf.

Of course everyone will just pick their fav as always.

The Williams are not only fast; they could get to the ball and return it still with power.

"When I was four years old, we moved from England to USA, when my mother found out that I won't be KING!" -- Bob Hope--

Madame Oracene Williams could certainly teach the French & Belgian crowds on how to upgrade their respective primitive behaviours during a tennis match.

steffi. without being the fastest she had not won so much since she could not have covered the open spot she often created during a point!

and I keep saying it. she was one yes away from the olympics on the 800 meter! many experts have said that she could have won gold with ease!

the fact that she was not a counterpuncher since she was not exactly the most patient person in the world has nothing to do with being fast.

Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams

WE cannot *measure* absloute speed in terms of mph.
Otherwise the fastest is always the last to catch the record.
(as in track-and-field)
So we must judge the *absolute* value of one's own speed in comparison with her/his contemporaries, of course.
Successive record-breakers are faster but not *necessarily* *superior* in absolute value.
Graf is the fastest tennis player there's ever been, in this respect.

Clijsters is fastest, well, she basically has the best reach because none of the other players are so cat-like.
She can just do a split like it's nothing.
Serena in my opinion is big, heavy and not as mobile.
Venus is faster, and has a better reach too because her legs are like 10 times as long as Serena's.
Arantxa was fast too, and Steffi had great footwork, so she would always find a way to get to the ball correct.

Graf by a nanosecond, serena and arantxa are tied, venus is not as quick but makes up for it with her reach.

Serena is the speediest and then she returns the shot with lots of power and angles.

I dont think that there is even a discussion here. The Williams sisters are the players with the best court couverage ever, so they are the quickest. Serena is the quickest of the two, while Venus makes up for that with her length. ASV and Steffi were fast too.

Faster to orgasm? Or faster in speed around the court?

Amanda Coetzer on both counts. (Not that I really know about the first part. hehe)
