Ula on the other hand seems to behave like their crazy psycho dad, that's why she's mentally useless, unlike Aga. I wonder will she be able to turn this year around, somehow.

Still I would like to have a tennis career like Ula, because until now I must have achieved 0,000001% of what she has I'm guessing all the haters in here also didn't achieve much on court.
Hey, fact that you are trying to sell your autographs for 70 USD doesn't mean that you "achieved" something

I'm alaways right, even when Im wrong...

I don't think Aga alone can get the team far, anyway...

Let us stay calm at least. She just lost one match that she shouldn't. Let her work; maybe she will surprise us. I agree that the signs are not promising, still who doesn't dislike her should wish her well.

The best of luck to all tennis players; The game is on!
-Andre
P.S.Well,... special luck to Agnieszka Radwanska, Marta Domachowska, Daniela Hantuchova, Urszula Radwanska

What an ignominious defeat for Ula! I have pored over the annals of Glushko's career for the last 5 years and the best career win I could find up to now was a win over world ranked 131 Erika Sema in an ITF in Charlottesville last year; she also beat Lauren Davis in USO qualies when the latter was ranked 136. So this is seriously embarrassing, even if Glushko was inspired by the home crowd or something, Ula should never lose to a player who has to work hard to even keep a top 200 place....

Julia was a really good junior, and also played well towards the end of last year, even qualifying for the USO.

Still, Ula should be well able to beat these players, judging by her ranking, but it seems she will always be up and down.

why people act like Ula is some legit player ?
She was a scrub for her all career and she is a scrub now. She had one lucky season due to easy schedules and injuries of opponents. Now shes back where she belongs.

Julia defeated Gajdosova and Bethanie Mattek-Sands too in the last few years (BMS last year).

Petra Kvitova - Li Na - Lucie Safarova - Madison Keys

Siblings can be quite different in terms of personality and in terms of talent. Most of siblings I know rarely follow the same profession, and when they do they usually achieve different levels of success. In that sense it's not surprising Ula has never been performing nearly as well as Aga (who can be described as a tennis genius, with an asterisk). Look at players greater than Aga and their sisters or brothers - Kim and Elke Clijsters, Djokovic and his bros - none of the lesser siblings are/were as successful as Ula.

Tha attention and expectations Ula gets thanks to Aga are certainly a double-edged sword - she undeservedly gets tons of hate. Although the fact she's been offering €50 signed photos seems she has some probably undeserved following (though hopefully no one's naive enough to actually buy one ).

Yes, but Gajdosova, though ranked 42, defaulted during that match so that hardly counts; Mattek-Sands was ranked 177 when Julia beat her last year; Julia also had two wins over Madison Keys last year, at a time when Keys languished around 180 in the world. So this win today is her first top 130 win without a default. In terms of the ranking of the opponent at the time and the status of the event, this win is completely in another world to the rest of the Glushko career to date.

Would you support my formal motion to bestow on Saint2 the official title: The King of WTF haters. He works so hard every day (no sleep, no eating) not just to express his personal feelings
concerning Urszula Radwanska but to turn us all against her as strong as possible. No move, no gesture, no word is left without characteristic comments. He deserves no 1 title on this Forum

He is so one-dimensional and predictable that I learned to take him lightly. I kind of smile when I see his posts....
