I guess suzanne lenglen, maybe helen wills moody, maureen connolly

you can say it was a different time but these players lost less matches in their career then the above in one years!

I'm not absolutely sure, but I think L. Dodd has 5 Grand Slam titles, never lost in a Grand Slam and only ever lost 5 times in her career.
