Weird loss. Probably a little tired after coming through qualies...hasn't played this many matches at this level in some time. Better luck in Cali.

She seems to be in good form. Another bagel :yeah:

Good form this week but she can be so unpredictable she could lose in straight sets to some scrub in her next tournament.

Sori has been playing consistently this week, which is great to see. :yeah:
Delighted to see Nastija back winning WTA matches, and seemingly injury-free.

Still a good tournament for Sevastova
should have the ranking to play WTA events on the regular again fairly soon...

Nice to see Sori easily taking care of the players she's supposed to beat. It gets a lot tougher tomorrow against Kirilenko. She just ran through three straight qualifiers to reach the semis. One benefit of her relatively high ranking.

LOl at Cirstea beating 3 qualifiers in a row, i don;t think i have ever seen that happen in a WTA event before.

yeah, she has an even easier draw than Lisicki, but she at least is serving bagels and breadsticks, unlike Bine who seems to struggle a bit, even against scubs

Let us just be happy that Lisicki is actually winning matches, cause she could lose to anyone.

Was worried Sori would struggle to defend her points this year but she's doing a good job so far :yeah:
