Re: Players SELLING their autographs?

I have a feeling that all things happening to Ula are because she got a "manager" from the USA. Look at the address...

And what's the funniest: they price these items at 50 USD and they will donate 1 USD to Polish charity... it's much better just to support this charity yourself.

I am not defending her, but all things happening with her are just stupid. Someone pointed out Radwańskas are greedy - maybe not Aga and Ula - but their father for sure. Whatever he does - it's about money.

Re: Players SELLING their autographs?

I know that Andi Hlavackova regularly auctions off signed wristbands, headbands, towels, balls etc., but she does it to raise money for charity.

And this is good! Many sportmen and sportwomen here sell something from them to support some charities. With Ula - it's clearly written on the website. 50 dollars + shipping and... 1 dollar for charity

Bepa does it too for her charity, selling rackets and all. It's ok when it's really for charity purposes.

True, but it's also a fact that a lot of people will part with money for a charity only if they get something in return.

Having said that, auctions like some other WTA players have participated in are better because even with deductions for shipping and costs of running an online auction, you usually get more than $1 out of a winning bid.

(My ex having been involved in fund raising as a professional, I speak with a certain level of knowledge, with the caveat that it's based on US events and setting minimum bids and some other stuff she would know more about than me).

Just think, in years to come you can show it to people and tell them "her sister used to be a semi-famous tennis player" and they'll be really impressed. Really they will.

OMFG, I've never seen worse player website
No news, no photogallery, there is a section called "tournaments", but when I clicked "read more" it just moved me back to the top of a main site... All you can find there is an info about her app and her autographed photos for 50 USD net

This girl is one bad joke...
She's still richer and more famous than you and is getting paid to travel the world and to play a sport she enjoys; so if she's a bad joke.... what does that make you?

I have my job I enjoy, and beer I enjoy. And music I enjoy. And its fine for me.
Never been interested in making big money or travelling the world.

BTW- why are you attacking me personally, just visit her website and tell wich part of my post is wrong ?

BTW- when you met her and she was "soo nice" to you, did you ask her for autograph ?

I'm alaways right, even when Im wrong...

Re: Players SELLING their autographs?

Can some people get off the high keyboards and realise that she's doing this for her fans, not for you haters, she's letting her fans have a piece of her legacy and allowing us to be a part of her story. Maybe one day if she becomes a slam winner these signed items will be worth a lot more than $50.
