But Paszek is not like Pironkova though There's really no reason why Paszek should have a grass-only game -- if anything, I'd say she should possibly be better suited to hardcourts than grass, seeing as her forehand benefits from having a little more time to set up. It's not like Pironkova whose funky forehand slice only works on grass.

Yes, I remember the match where Henin made 51 UEs and Paszek made only 14 winners; why did you have to remind me?

Imo, Tamira actually has a better game on hard court than she does on grass. It's just that she has absolutely no confidence on hard court anymore for some reason, and it's an awful shame.

Kiki is a good player though.

Paszek is much more talented than pironkova i feel, thats why her lack of progress on other surfaces is much more disappointing

Great win Kiki Good luck vs. Dominika!!

As for Tamira, it's actually sad that she doesn't manage to string any wins together outside of Grass. Reminds me a bit on Szavay. Huge talent, but somehow not the real competitive state of mind. The conditions here in Paris should suit her IMO.

Yeah, I agree, at times, Tamira has the ability to compete with almost anyone, as seen at Wimbledon and Eastbourne, but she really lacks confidence in her ability at times.

Still think she has one of the best backhands on tour, it's so beautiful.

Now I can sleep easily tonight knowing that JJ beating Tam Tam R1 in Sydney wasn't a fluke

But seriously Tam Tam what is going on with you?

Nevertheless, KiKi

Despite not making many winners, she's still an agressive baseliner, and she doesn't only win matches by waiting the opponent's mistake, though she can do that at times also.
