Re: 2014 YEC host cities narrowed to 3 candidates. Where do you want it to be held?

Umm, best place for me is Monterrey, then Singapore, since I might have some chances to go there and the tickets probably won't be too much if it's held in Mexico. But traveling to Mexico these days might not be a good idea. Don't know if I'll ever travel to China.

For the tournament's sake, Singapore could be good, since the city is clean with better facilities, lots of tourists and there are people can afford high price tickets. The Sharapova's clan probably have to pay thousands of dollar fines from littering Sugarpova candies there though.

Stacey would put the entire tour in China if she could!

Singapore is not hot at the end of the year ( 20-30 Celsius degree), and it has mild weather due to being an island country.

Couldn't care less about how much money China is willing to pay that greedy b*tch.
I just want Istanbul to stay, sadly we all know that's not gonna happen.

Istanbul was a great place with enthusiasted fans , but the tickets were sold at very low prices ( even when comparing to regular WTA tournaments anywhere), hence the good attendance.

It's gonna move b/c:

1. Stacey can't stand more with losing profits.

2. Tournament's sponsors think it's enough promotion for their businesses and don't want to spend more. ( This have happened many times, ie Sony Ecrisson, etc..).

More like 25-31 and that's the temperature the entire year.

Obviously, I would like it to be held in my country. Obviously, I'm biased; but obviously, Singapore is the best choice on the shortlist. It's cosmopolitan, very foreigner-friendly, we speak English, our streets are super clean, our transportation...works, we are safe, and our food is awesome.

"But certain interests of particular people are so important that it would be wrong - morally wrong - for the community to sacrifice those interests just to secure an overall benefit. Political rights mark off and protect these particularly important interests. A political right, we may say, is a trump over the kind of trade-off argument that normally justifies political action." - Ronald Dworkin (RIP)

Telling strangers I'm too good to miss
If I'm wrong I hope you'll tell me so

I agree with everything you said there except the last one about food. That's kinda debatable
