Actually 8 times. Greatest sibling act in any sport without a doubt. What's more impressive is their doubles domination also.

There is a huge ommission here but given that it's a US writer and the sport is cricket I suppose that's not surprising. The Pollock brothers, Graham and Peter, were for me the greatest sporting siblings of all. One of the most surprising things about them was that they specialized in diffrent disciplines, Graham being one of the greatest batsmen of all time and Peter one of the World's leading fast bowlers. For baseball fans who don't follow cricket, imagine Alex Rodriguez and Justin Verlander being brothers and you'll get the idea. Even more remarkable, Peter's son Shaun also went on to be a great player.

" Not for #1 "

And what siblings story would you rate above theirs?

You all realize that Mr. Silver's tongue was firmly in his cheek when he wrote that, right?

Right?

What makes them special is that they not only compete against each other and are both champions in their own rights but they also combine as a team to be champions. In what other sport does that happen? None. Therefore, they are the best.
