not sure how you got that from the oncourt interview my interpretation was that she just ignored that part of the question completely.

Ridiculous tbh, and that's coming from a Vika fan. How on earth did the umpire even allow it?

Yes, a disgrace really and nobody can defend her here.

Even if it was obvious that's what she was doing she could have had the common courtesy to deny it. I mean first her money and ranking before health and now this. Does she not realise that women's tennis virtually accounts for all female sports and that as it's topped ranked she is highly representative of womens' sport. Get your act together.

yeah I also remembered feeling more respectful of her after her USO final reaction and her speech, I suppose the fact that her opponent then was serena williams had a lot to do with the grace and humble manner which she took that defeat in
