Yes Madrid was the last time she retired against Schiavone. And i think the only time she has retired in a slam was at Wimbledon 1998 against Ruano Pascual.

Gosh, when the guy asked her the question at first she thought of it as retiring in general, not the particular match hence she was ready to tear him a new one. Watching the video even I got scared; it is priceless.
