My apology to Serena Williams

As many of you have already seen, I called Serena Williams to win the Australian Open this year. It appears that I am responsible for her loss, and that it was nothing at all to do with Serena being a bit injured, or Sloane playing incredibly well under pressure. It was all my fault.

Your sincerely,
sarcasm.

Thank you for everything Mercedes, now please be nice to Socrates for me, perhaps fetch him a bird or two. We love you, always.

Apology accepted.

Feel free to make such predictions in the future!

Sorry to break it to you but jinxes don't exist; it's all in your head.

Venus and Serena

Serena, I am ready for 24 and 25

Re: My apology to Serena Williams

I blame the Wertheim curse to be honest. He kept saying "I cannot see a scenario where Serena doesn't win".

He looked deep into his eyes and said, "You're perfect."

"No, I'm not. But with you, I don't even care."

Yes, Wertheim was just calling forth some Greek irony with his "I cannot see a scenario...doesn't win." remark.

Half-joking.

But whenever someone says something like that, I can't help but imagine negative scenarios!
