LOL I know that's why I said "at least" and "one department" I was mainly being sarcastic. I reckon this is a great achievement to be that consistent in a slam but at the end of the day, if you don't get the title, that achievement is only a secondary.

Re: Most SF at Australian Open

If Maria works hard, maybe she can improve her AO win-loss ratio from 81% up to the 89% that Serena and Steffi have

Interesting that Serena is tied with Pova- well assuming she wins tonight that is....no jinx.

Re: Most SF at Australian Open

Not to diss this accomplishment and all but reaching the SFs isn't even being a bridesmaid- it's just being a guest at the wedding. Nonetheless it's still an admirable feat and says a lot about how comfortable those players are at this event. I had no idea Kim had reached that many SFs before though. Maybe it's not the stat u wanna be known for but it's still a nice record to have- if for no reason other than the confidence it must instill in those players.

My fav has won 9999 slams so whatever you say about other fellow players is irrelevant. Peasants and lessors 1111

Kim and Lindsay also won only once each despite reaching the SF 12 times combined. They must be a joke as well, right?

Anyway, nice stats

Bombed out too many times? This is one of the most screwed up logic on the board, even for Serena's standards.

Serena failed to make the second week 3 times : one 2RD, two 3RDs. Kim has two : one 1RD, one 3RD,( W/ L 43-9). Serena WON the AO 5 times,( W/L at the moment 58-7), while Kim was busy losing her SFs 6 times. Losing in 6SFs is nothing to be ashamed of, but comparing to Winning 5 times is nothing, but being a second rated player to the champion. I guess you were "trying to be funny", but anyhow, before taking a cheap jab at the champion, check your facts first.
