If Sveta plays at the level she played during the first sets of her last two matches, she can make this match competitive. But then we know those second sets came and Sveta's energy and skills seemed to be completely gone. On the other hand, Vika' s serving has been horrible this week, she played very streaky too. Hard to say, I would still go with Vika.
Aga can have a bad day, finally, after all those wins, so Na has a decent chance to win if she plays patiently.
The other two matches, I do not really see how an upset can happen, I would certainly love one.
I agree that Agnieszka's match is the closest and it can go either way. On paper, however, she is the favorite at the moment. At this same time I have same fears as you do, especially as a fan.
The best of luck to all tennis players; The game is on!
P.S.Well,... special luck to Agnieszka Radwanska, Marta Domachowska, Daniela Hantuchova, Urszula Radwanska
Radwanska 50% - this should be a good one.
Sharapova 65% - mark my words... Makarova will not go down quietly, clearly loves playing in Melbourne, and is battle-tested unlike Maria. This has the potential to be quite interesting.
Azarenka - Kuznetsova 60% - 40% (never underestimate a multiple Slam champion, and an unpredictable one at that Still I think Vika will take this...)
Serena - Stephens 99.9% - 0.01%
Li-Radwanska 45% - 55%
Makarova-Sharapova 25% - 75%
Did you see that final? Mirnyi was absolutely useless, paralyzed by nerves and he kept feeding Bryan easy volleys with his BH return. Robson played a very good first set but became equally useless after that. So basically it was Murray vs Azarenka, and Vika won believe it or not.
Some people thinking Stephens has more of a chance beating Serena than Makarova does beating Sharapova...
