No question about it....just thought I'd be bold enough to offer a meaningless prediction based off the limited amount of times I've seen each play.

What do I know...lol. I thought Vaidisova would usher in this new generation

For me, it's fairly obvious that Laura is the best ballstriker. The Keys, then Stephens. They all have different strengths and they're all going to be very successful.

Vaidisova, Chakvetadze and Sharapova were going to be the "Big 3" back then. Who knows?

This, but it is not like Stephens is bad. She is so talented too, but Keys and Vekic IMO are extremely talented and big contenders for many slam. I feel Madison and Donna without any problems and injuries will be higher in their 19 and 20 than Stephens and Robson are now. I'm sure.

I agree with this. That thriving is what's gonna set here apart. Sure she's inconsistent but if she can already prove she can beat names, and that's what you have to do to win big titles, not just 'have a good game'.

Serena Williams: I'm going for team Sharapova 'coz she's hot

There were so many young players with big game, just missing finesse, a little movement and defense improvement who turned to nothing, searching for that precious "zone" that kept avoiding increasingly.

About Robson, well, I've seen her playing absolutely top quality tennis (much better than anything I've seen from Stephens or Keys), but then again she plays dozens of awful matches without any indication of improvement on any noticeable dimension.

As a conservative, I'd go with Stephens. She already is an established player and doesn't need to change anything fundamentally to become a top player.
I can think of another player who pretty much has a one-dimensional game and managed to win 7 grand slams. Madison game is so good that she is going to have the same problem as Venus has. When her game works, very few people will be able to beat her when on. So its that constant battle she may encounter as her career progresses. The difference is that Madison might have better coaches than Venus had and actually listen to what they say and try to make improvments. From what I can see she is very mature for her age and will be in the top 10 at age 19 or 20.

Sloane is losing this poll but I think alot of people dont realize how good Sloane could be! This girl puts forth very little physical effort on the court and wins service games easily. I know she is fast and strong around the court but most of that is natural ability. She does occasionally push the ball around the court when playing someone stronger than her. I would like to see her take the next step and get more fiesty and aggressive and hopefully this year playing more top players and taking beatdowns by Serena, and "come on's!" and so forth will get her there.

Not ready to jump on the Robson bandwagon just yet. I still dont see a top player consistent game in her yet. She might develop it over the years and I could be wrong but I have a hard time seeing her as a consistent top 10 player throughout her career. Sloane and Madison can be consistent top 10 players if they improve a bit more.

Re: Who will have the biggest career, Stephens, Robson or Keys

I think Robson and Keys will have the best career. Still a bit early to know how Keys will play in tight match against the best something that Robson has proven to be able to win. Great potential tho. I like Sloane but I just don't see what's in her game that could make her win a GS with the competition she has right now and that she will have in the future. I hope I'm wrong tho since she is really lovely.

Wozniak~ElTabakh ~Marino~Eugenie Bouchard...and the other Canucks!
Maria Sharapova~Anna Chakvetadze~Jelena Dokic~Laura Robson ~Sabine Lisicki

I reckon in three-four years all three will be in the top ten, one of them will have a GS preferably Sloane but Keys and Robson look more promising for now.

I wonder if people still think Robson is better than Stephens

Re: Who will have the biggest career, Stephens, Robson or Keys

laura robson for sure. she already is a superstar with a silver medal and multiple top 10 wins. do these other girls have that? i don't think so.

laura is simply the most talented of them all and has a game that can beat anyone on her day. tennis should be grateful to have a personality and star like laura robson coming up or else the sport would be nearing death.

keep going laura and become the champion you are meant to be.

If tennis didn't die after Jankovic, Wozniacki, and Safina being the "top ranked" player in the world I think it will be fine with or without Laura. It IS a good thing to have a good British player in the mix in the next few years I will give you that.

maybe i was a bit hyperbolic but you get the point. as you said it is a good thing to have a british player in the mix, but this is not just about laura being british mind you. she simply has all the qualities of a superstar on her own right. cant wait for her to become a champion and anchor herself at the very top of the rankings.
