YEC is going to be indoors if it's heading to Singapore.

What is its nature? He covets. That is his nature. And how do we begin to covet? We begin by coveting what we see every day.
And don't your eyes seek out the things you want?

I can't trust you anymore

Doesn't look like very exciting games.

In general, there are way too many 'games' in China; National Games, Asian Games, East Asian Games. That's in addition to the Olympic Games and World Championships in the individual sports. But local Chinese government administrations love to host games because it gives them an excuse for excessive investments in otherwise useless facilities, infrastructure etc. One of many signs of the crony capitalism infesting China (where I have lived for many years).

And don't forget these ones ( more? ); Chinese City Games, Provincial Games, Farmers/Peasant Games and 'Ethnic' Games.

I think these 'Games' are great for China to encourage physical well-being which is a big issue/problem in China.

That's right. Shenzhen Longgang Sports Center was originally built for the 2011 Summer Universiade.

Nanjing will host the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games (YOG). The Nanjing Tennis Center was originally built for the 2005 National Games.

In that case, I hope they play the YEC with roof closed. It should be an indoor event.

Here in Macau we have a giant East Asian Games sports complex too, built on reclaimed land. The positive is that it is open to the public now, for a reasonable fee you can rent a tennis court. I just don't know if it makes sense to keep building megastadiums though. Maybe in a couple hundred years UNESCO will list "great stadiums of China" as a heritage site, giant monstrosities sitting abandoned

the anti-chinese posts on here are so funny, as they are rooted in fear. can almost smell the fear. face it, china is going to take over, maybe not in the next 5 years, but it will happen.

As long as the stadiums will be put in good use afterwards, I have no problem with them

I'm all alone with my delusions
