Re: WTA website gets a much needed overhaul

The Rankings page needs a lot of work, very frustrating to use.
This isn't a final product. Why would they announce a new website when there's so many technical errors?

The Photo Galleries are much better.

At a glance, it looks user and fan-friendly, clean and sophisticated. Everything the WTA is not, so well done!

As far as I am concerned she WON those, so....

Just to name a few.....

NOT impressed yet...
Glitches in the system. Except for Wimbledon 2010, they have the correct points that she gained

Re: WTA website gets a much needed overhaul

Does anyone else think it looks cheaply made?

I mean surely the pages and the way it's set up is better, but still some of the colors and accents with each other does not match and looks tacky.

Also, think it would have been cooler to have the feature of the player on the homepage in the background to constantly change after refreshing it. Not just Li Na every time, and Serena for rankings, Vika for Players, etc.

TT Singles Current Ranking: #2 (CH Ranking: #1)
Titles(10): Singapore YEC 2015 Eastbourne 2015, Dubai 2015, Linz 2014, Cincinnati 2014, Wimbledon 2014, Marrakech 2014, Quebec City 2012, Cincinnati 2011
TT Doubles Current Ranking: #23 (CH Ranking: #8)
Titles(8): Zhuhai 2015, Stuttgart 2015, Sofia TOC 2014, Cincinnati 2014, Bucharest 2014, Tokyo 2012 (w/New_balls_please), Stanford 2012, Carlsbad 2011, Osaka 2011 (w/rvugt)

Re: WTA website gets a much needed overhaul

^^ Maybe that is something they're doing. It took like 10 times to refresh it but finally got a different face on the homepage. Maybe they're working on that too.

Like all website changes on the last year or so it's absolutely dreadful. All squished in the middle for people not accessing the page via a computer.

It's a nice effort but it does look cheap. It's a bit "in your face".
They also need to remove Clijsters from the homepage. She's retired.

They should've copied the ATP and just put a purpleish background.

I just wish it had less of this pink/raspberry color and fewer cookies, too.

Didn't knew all players were born at 0:00:00...

I'm alaways right, even when Im wrong...

Didn't you know that all great tennis players were born at exactly midnight? Nobody quite understands why people born at that time tend to be great tennis players whereas a second either way ruins their chances. Researchers have just accepted that it's true and moved on.

Re: WTA website gets a much needed overhaul

They really needs to fix the rankings page.

Right now, it looks like they spend a lot of money to improve the house's facade but don't have anything left to buy furniture.
