Re: WTA website gets a much needed overhaul

It's really nice that we can (finally) see the historical rankings now (previous weeks ranking). CMIIW, before we couldn't do that, right??

And also the ranking breakdown!!

Re: WTA website gets a much needed overhaul

It´s a miracle. The search mask finally recognizes Na Li.

I am not a fan of the direction a lot of Maria threads have taken over the last 12 months.
The undertone is very disappointing, aggressive and the comments are sometimes rude to a player just trying to earn a living, playing her hardest and having a good amount of success given her god given, natural talents.
You made the list: NEW President Bouchard, Cibulkova, Mladenovic, Wozniacki, Kerber, Cornet, Watson, Broady.
Please note this is a signature about Tatjana Maria

I see the YTD stats but will/do they have them for previous years?

Looks gaudy

The belief that man is an irresolute creature pulled this way and that by two forces of equal strength, alternately winning and losing the battle for his soul; the conviction that human life is nothing more than an uncertain struggle between heaven and hell; the faith in two opposed entities, Satan and Christ - all this was bound to engender those internal discords in which the mind, excited by the incessant fighting, stimulated as it were by the constant promises and threats, ends up by giving in and prostitutes itself to whichever of the two combatants has been more obstinate in its pursuit. Life isn't black and white, it's gold.

Re: WTA website gets a much needed overhaul

Much better although it needs a lot of finishing touches.

Twitter is nice on the players's profiles but doesn't look right on the main page.
The feed is full of political things from Navratilova and boring stuff from unknown retired British players.

Re: WTA website gets a much needed overhaul

Would NA-MUG go in to depression after the WTA webpage is finished with no SEWTA starting from 2013?

That's if it does get rid of SEWTA

i don't see any significant improvements... Still not enough of statistics , still better to use wikipedia when you need to check players achievements

Re: WTA website gets a much needed overhaul

I went to Serena's profile and clicked on ranking breakdown. Is it just me or is it a mass of errors?????

US Open 2012 3R ??????
WIMBLEDON 2010 4R ?????
YEC 2009 1R ??????

As far as I am concerned she WON those, so....

Just to name a few.....

NOT impressed yet...

Serena Williams
19 Grand Slams, 4 Olympic Gold Medals
Venus Williams
