Re: Most Over-Rated player of 2012 is....?
Being 'over-rated' is a comment on the fans, not the players. (AND incidentally, it's IMPOSSIBLE to be 'over-ranked').
I'd have to say Kvitova, since she vastly under-performed expectation.
Radwanska, on the other hand, is in no
w way over-rated. Nobody but her fans considers her to be close to Sharapova or Azarenka, much less Serena.
OTOH, as 'best of the rest', who's her competition? Kerber, Errani, Li, Kvitova, Stosur, Wozniacki, Bartoli .... not exactly Murderer's Row. But, as I've said before, there was another player who won a slam young, then underperformed for the next couple years. Name of Williams. Had an older sister who could play a little too. Kvitova won't be Serena, but she could eventually rack up four or five slams, if she's motivated.

Not blind. Not uninformed. We are party to atrocities. But the response of the world after 9/11 is worth noting. Even our most dire enemies offered aid. We should all be so lucky.
